Single Phase Electrically Operated

Artisan roller shutters are constructed from high quality, interlocking galvanised steel laths, utilising galvanised steel bottom rails for added durability.

The curtain runs in galvanised steel channel side-guides, mounted on steel support angles bolted to the structure.

APPLICATIONS

All our roller shutter doors are purpose made to suit individual site dimensions and requirements.  They are suitable for all types of industrial, commercial and domestic applications.

They can be either – face fixed or fitted between jambs or steel work and can be sited inside or outside the building.

Available in Mill Finish, Plastisol or Powder Coated Finish to a wide range of BS/RAL colours.

Available in solid, perforated, punched, punched and glazed or tube and link.

STEEL SHUTTER CURTAINS

Steel shutter curtains are constructed from high grade 76mm interlocking galvanised steel laths in either 22 SWG, 20SWG or 18SWG dependent on size, location and level of security required.

BOTTOM RAIL

The bottom rail is manufactured from rolled steel galvanised profile in either “L” or “T” sections.

END LOCKS

Lateral curtain movement is prevented by injection moulded nylon end-locks, which are secured to the laths by aluminium semi-tubular rivets.

GUIDE SECTIONS

Guide channels are formed from galvanised steel and are available in a variety of dimensions dependant on the level of security required.

ROLLER SUPPORT PLATES

The roller support plates are constructed from 3/5mm galvanised steel and come complete with all necessary fittings to accept barrel assembly.

ELECTRICAL OPERATION

Artisan roller shutters are powered by 1-phase (240 volts, 50hz) tubular motor located in a 100mm or 127mm dia. steel tube and come complete with emergency manual override facility in the event of mains power failure.

In addition to the above an anti fall inertia safety brake complying to all current health and safety regulations will be fitted to openings where personnel access is required.

OPERATING OPTIONS

The shutter is operated by either of the following:

  • Rocker switch
  • Key switch
  • Remote control
  • Key pad

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Galvanised or plastisol steel coil casings can be supplied to cover the back and front sides of the shutter coil

Rubber draught seals can be fitted to the bottom rail.  Available on “T” section only.

Group control can be supplied for multi shutter applications.

Battery back-up system can be supplied where required.
